ASU Officer Joseph Montgomery Memorial Fund
Officer Joseph Montgomery was a wonderful person, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was also a good cop, treating everyone he met with respect, dignity, and objectivity. Joe’s life revolved around his family. Joe and his wife Sandra were high school sweethearts and have been together for 35 years. He was a dad that showed up for all his kids, attended their events, and supported them in every aspect of their lives. Joe was a Police Officer for over 34 years. He always gave and never asked for anything in return. He was one of the most selfless human beings we have ever known and has been a tremendous loss for his family, friends, and community. Joe is survived by his wife Sandra, his 4 children, Allison (Allie), Brett, Seth - wife Kylie, Natalie, and his 3 grandchildren, Brielle, Sesily, and Adaline.
Assistance awarded to the public safety professional will be determined on a case-by-case basis and any distribution awarded will be determined by the foundation board. Distributions could include but are not limited to charitable cash donations, tangible items, supplemental items and other items deemed necessary by the board upon application to the Mesa FOP Lodge 9 Charitable Foundation.
