Steve Pollard was our first Brother to fall in the line of duty. He loved his career as a Mesa Police Officer. Steve was proud to wear the Mesa Police uniform, and he wore it well.
Steve loved children. He often spoke of children in need and tried to help any child in distress. Always doing more than required, going the extra mile was Steve’s motto. He always went that extra mile for the children.
In keeping with Steve Pollard’s love and devotion to children, the Mesa Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 9 is proud to honor Steve’s memory by naming this scholarship after one who served his community well.
The Mesa F.O.P. Lodge 9 is a non-profit fraternal organization that donates to numerous charities annually. The Lodge offers two $1000.00 scholarships for children or grandchildren of Mesa F.O.P. members.
